The Gren Group in NYC

Mark and I were in New York last Thursday and Friday for two whirlwind days of appointments, including JWT, Ogilvy, Deutsch, R/GA, RAPP, AFG and Juice.  The highlight was surely Thursday late afternoon, when we found ourselves running a little late for our big appointment at DraftFCB - a beer, wine & cheese portfolio showing with the entire Art Buying and Creative Departments.

Not wanting to risk getting stuck in a Cab during gridlock, we jumped into this Manhattan Rickshaw with 1 cooler full of beer & wine, 1 large case stuffed with portfolio books, 3 iPad portfolios, 2 computers and us.   Thankfully, our driver, Cahit, whose name in Turkish means 'hardworking', was a trooper - he biked the 9 blocks to our appointment without incident.  This was just his second week on the job - and hopefully not his last.

The appointment was awesome - a huge crowd showed up, drank all the beer & wine, ate all the cheese and fruit plates, and hung out well after our allotted time slot.   Big thanks to Ilona and Arleen for putting it all together, and to Cahit for getting us there in one piece.
