Mark's been very happy lately, having fun on production & shooting happy people. I'll have what this lady's having........:-)

There's a saying, "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life."

Doesn't seem like Mark's working here, but he is.  On assignment for Draftfcb, Mark had the pleasure of photographing five ‘Ambassadors’ representing patients suffering from MS. These people were amazing – happy, energetic and great spirited, even through some inclement weather.

Eric Schmidt - Authenticity, Stampedes, & New Work

Authenticity is a word that has been associated with Eric's work and is also a word he feels that most people would want to be associated with.  So when a recent assignment asked him to create authentic moments of individuals being portrayed as patients and doctors, he jumped onboard.

 

 

 

Shooting both stills & motion, Eric used thoughtful words throughout the shoot to gently direct & create those moments of authenticity.  Read more in his journal Capturing Moments.

While healthcare assignments make up a large portion of Eric's work, he still finds time to photograph other interests, like Rodeo's & State Fairs.  If you've never been to either, put them on your bucket list!  

Traveling to Montana, he took his 8x10 view camera to photograph the Marias stampede. 





While waiting for the action, storm clouds moved in, and as luck would have it - lightening struck.  No photoshop here :-)

Jonathan Chapman - Target & a little house on a prairie

Jonathan spent two days in the recently opened City Target in downtown Seattle shooting imagery for Target’s Red Magazine. City Target is a new concept being launched in cities all over the US to implement a Target shopping experience that fits the city lifestyle.  See more behind the scenes photos on intern Sam Serbus' blog - Intern-spective. 

Prior to this trip, Jonathan & family took a mini-vacation to northern Wisconsin, catching a little R&R in this spectacular prairie house.  Vacation photos never looked so good!
