Jonathan Chapman's "Let's Go Fly" Video Debut
The newest addition to the growing JC|P Motion archive launched today. We are proud to present "Let's Go Fly" a collaborative piece brought about by the efforts of a great crew and talented post production team. As we've moved forward into video since the launch of HDDSLR cameras it became obvious very quickly that the most important and essential element to pull together any type of motion based project is seeking and building relationships with those in the film + video industry. Enjoy!

Eric Schmidt Captures Tender Moments for Healthcare Client
Here are a few selects from a recent health care related shoot in which Eric Schmidt needed to capture unrehearsed moments between an elderly woman & a caretaker (in this case, her granddaughter). There definitely needed to be an honest, emotional connection within the imagery - which there was. He just let it all unfold... one frame at a time.

Advocate Healthcare Branding Campaign for Mark Katzman
Mark was requested to supply Advocate Healthcare with any stock imagery that would apply to the specific concepts in the agency's layout. Mark had a few shots that were applicable but the remaining 7 were more specific than he had available. Thus Mark spent his Memorial Day weekend asking favors of friends, neighbors, his employees and family to help produce the remaining 7 shots on no budget. He created a "made to order" stock collection that Advocate fell in love with. Not only did Advocate purchase the additional 7 shots Mark created for them, but subsequently he was awarded their 2010 branding campaign shooting 7 days alongside TV. .

Mark Katzman on assignment with Playboy
When Mark met Frank Owen, his energy was electrifying. A celebrated, and sometimes controversial, writer he had enough colorful stories to paint a thousand pictures. After the three-hour drive to the subject in Southern Missouri, Mark realized that this man was a creative genius, the likes of which he'd rarely met– or at least teamed up with to cover a story for Playboy! A prolific talker, he was mysteriously quiet when it came to discussing the assignment at hand. What did he have in mind? What was his take on this story? How could Mark partner with him to support his vision? He asked a lot of questions until he realized Frank was not really the ‘plan it out’ type. “Let’s see what happens.” he said. Finally Frank shared a thought – “I would love to see an image of him gazing out over a distant hill, sun peeking over the horizon… prepared for the world as we know it to end – the dawn of a new era.” Ok. Now we’re getting somewhere. It was 45 minutes before sunset and we asked our subject, “Any hills around here?” Yup… but they’re 40 min away. Hmm, that will leave us 5 min to scout and shoot. Buzzed from Frank’s energy, Mark said, “Let’s go!”
